Red Snapper Learning (RSL) have delivered three Conspiracy and Case Building Workshops to prosecutors and police officers in Kingston, Jamaica.
The first of which was delivered on behalf of Gary Dickson, Senior UK consultant who works within the Financial Investigation Division by David Peacock and Rhoda Nikolay. This initiative, comprising bespoke two day workshops, follows the tried and tested training Red Snapper Learning delivered in Antigua, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and Grenada back in November 2017. Once again, this has proved to be a memorable experience: meeting with law enforcement colleagues operating in the front line, to combat organised criminality. The training which was well received, is specifically designed to promote the option of building criminal conspiracy cases.
This was quickly followed by the second workshop and was attended by representatives from the Major Organised Crime and Corruption Agency, Financial Investigation Division, Indecom, Office of the DPP, Customs, Revenue Protection and Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime. The participation over this two day event was excellent, and RSL were confident that the attendees were able to take away some valuable insights that could be put in practice where required.
David and Rhoda delivered the final Conspiracy Case Building training course in Kingston, Jamaica, making the 3 two day courses delivered to over 50 delegates within a 10 day period. This was a considerable effort from RSL and provided the maximum learning potential in the most efficient time frame possible for the client. The delegate attendees were all in the employ of the Major Organised Crime and Corruption Agency, Financial Investigation Division, Indecom, Office of the DPP, Customs, Revenue Protection, Office of the Contractor General, Clerks of Court, Post Office Investigations and Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime.
David and Rhoda would like to thank all the delegates for their truly outstanding participation, during which we really believe we have placed the conspiracy option in the minds of those investigators and prosecutors that have attended these courses. RSL would also like to thank Gary Dickson, Senior UK Consultant, currently working with the Financial Investigation Division, for making this training initiative possible.
