Red Snapper Group (RSG) is pleased to announce a collaboration with Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services, Gwent, Wales. Our unique collaboration will see RSG’s digital 24/7 evidence based interventions – The Intervention Hub, being piloted as part of the innovative to address Domestic Abuse across Gwent.
This exciting new initiative will see domestic abuse perpetrators addressing their thinking and attitudes through use of the online tool – The Intervention Hub.
The Intervention Hub itself utilises digital Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CCBT) which can be used on any SMART device, is available 24/7 and is suitable for all learning styles as audio bars, text and videos guide users through.
The Intervention Hub can be used as a self-help tool or with a practitioner and will be critical to ensure ongoing service delivery throughout the pandemic and making domestic abuse services more accessible.
The pilot commenced in January 2021 and is anticipated to be completed within 12 months where a full evaluation will take place regarding its effectiveness.
The director of RSG has stated:
“We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to the Phoenix Domestic Abuse Services team for the confidence they have shown in both the team and the service. We believe the Intervention Hub provides a highly impactful user-friendly self-help and/or practitioner supported intervention service.
With this most recent contract win, we are well on our way to providing assistance to over 10,000 service users. Thank you again Phoenix Domestic Abuse Service”
